We are seeking a full-time Pediatrician specializing in Child Abuse to become a vital part of our Children at Risk Evaluation (CARE) Center. The ideal candidate should be either board-certified/eligible in Child Abuse Pediatrics or a General Pediatrician with relevant experience in child abuse and neglect.
The CARE Center is tasked with the evaluation and treatment of children suspected of being victims of physical or sexual abuse and neglect. Our committed team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, conducts assessments for children and adolescents referred by various agencies, such as private practitioners, law enforcement, and child protective services. Furthermore, our team provides consultation services for suspected cases of child maltreatment that may require inpatient care. We take pride in being recognized as an accredited Child Advocacy Center (CAC) by the National Children's Alliance.
This position is located at a 501(c)(3) organization, making it eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program provided by the Federal government.
