Job Overview

Position Summary:

  • Deliver on-site technical assistance to personnel regarding PC software/hardware, mobile devices, and MAC systems. Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges.
  • Articulate the origins of technical issues through a comprehensive understanding of hardware and software elements.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting hardware and software problems within a customer-focused environment.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and adeptness in managing customer service challenges with compassion.
  • Possess a proactive approach to problem-solving, motivated to prioritize customer satisfaction, and capable of explaining complex technical issues in an accessible manner. Anticipate potential obstacles and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles to various audiences.

  • Develop in-depth product knowledge and utilize all available resources for research and information gathering.
  • Set realistic expectations for customers and maintain consistent communication throughout their service experience.
  • Accurately document all relevant user information and the nature of the issues in all supported systems.
  • Ensure precise recording of all transactions to uphold service and inventory accuracy. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in providing on-site IT support, including installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with customers and team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities. Capable of resolving hardware and equipment issues. Familiarity with office environments and Windows 7/10. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly.
  • No travel required.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA.
