INSTRUMENTATION SPECIALIST

The Instrumentation Specialist position is vital to our operations, tasked with the installation, upkeep, and calibration of diverse instrumentation devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Instrumentation Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and calibrate a variety of instrumentation devices, including valves, analytical instruments, level, temperature, pressure, flow devices, and both static and continuous weighing systems.


Troubleshooting:
Diagnose individual devices and comprehend their influence on the process to ensure uninterrupted operations.

New Installations:
Execute new installations, which include fitting instruments, running conduit, wiring panels, and interpreting electrical and P&ID blueprints. Carry out initial setup procedures with efficiency.

Safety Compliance:
Operate in full adherence to established safety policies and procedures, ensuring a secure working environment.

Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues, engineers, plant management, and external vendors to uphold the highest standards of operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with industrial controls and instrumentation
Experience in PLC troubleshooting is essential
Familiarity with multimeters and the ability to measure 5v to 120v and 4-20 loop
Experience in calibrating flow meters and flow sensors
Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is advantageous
High school diploma or GED required; Electrical license or Associate's degree in Automation, Applied Science, or Instrumentation is highly preferred
