Key Duties:

  • Maintenance of Instruments: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of various instrumentation devices, including valves, temperature, pressure, and flow instruments, as well as weighing systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with instrumentation to ensure uninterrupted operations and maintain efficiency.
  • New Installations: Oversee new installations by fitting instruments, running conduits, wiring panels, and interpreting electrical and P&ID schematics. Ensure proper setup for seamless integration.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work in conjunction with engineers, plant management, and external partners to uphold the highest operational standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in industrial controls and instrumentation, with practical experience in PLC troubleshooting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using multimeters for voltage measurements and 4-20mA loops. Experience with flow meter calibration is essential.
  • Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is advantageous.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or GED is required; an Electrical license or an Associate degree in Automation, Applied Science, or Instrumentation is preferred.
