Position Overview:
As a Senior Relationship Manager in the Mountain West region, you will be instrumental in advancing Rabo AgriFinance's presence among farmers and producers in one of the most fertile agricultural areas.
Your Role:
Your primary responsibility will be to attract new clients while nurturing existing relationships to meet the financial objectives of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the representative of Rabo AgriFinance in the regional market, ensuring a seamless experience for clients by collaborating with team members.
- Oversee business development and customer management within a designated area or market segment.
- Provide tailored agricultural investment and advisory services to both current and prospective clients.
- Identify customer needs, evaluate eligibility for products, and negotiate suitable solutions, engaging product specialists as necessary.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Financial Analysts to ensure accurate presentation of customer requests, adhering to established credit policies and procedures. Recommend customer applications to the Credit department for evaluation.
Client Portfolio Management:
Manage a designated portfolio with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction while achieving profitable returns. Identify key farmers and producers in the Mountain West region to explore lending and cross-selling opportunities.
Networking:
Build relationships with CPAs, attorneys, and other industry professionals to enhance connections and represent Rabo AgriFinance at industry events.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the VP - Relationship Manager position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural lending or related fields.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- A genuine passion for agriculture and a solid understanding of the industry and lending practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven skills in marketing and selling financial products.
- Strong organizational skills to set goals and manage priorities independently.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required.
