We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at JCSI. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, installing, and repairing electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Configure electrical systems and equipment to meet specifications and industry standards.
- Design and implement new or modified electrical installations, ensuring accessibility for future maintenance and avoiding hazardous configurations.
- Measure, cut, bend, and assemble electrical conduit and wiring.
- Route and install wiring and electrical equipment, both inside and outside the factory.
- Splice wires, connect electrical fixtures and power equipment, and install control and distribution apparatus.
- Test electrical circuits to ensure compatibility and safety, using standard instruments and equipment.
- Maintain and repair high-voltage equipment, including generators, motors, and transformers.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, reading and understanding policies, safety procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Must possess a valid Electrician's License.
- Considerable knowledge of electrical apparatus, procedures, codes, techniques, and practices.
- Skilled in the use of electrical testing, monitoring, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot multiple systems.
- Ability to read and understand complex instructions, schematics, and blueprints.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
