We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Anheuser-Busch Inc. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing the PLC electrical systems and equipment within our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Installation and Replacement: Install and replace instrumentation and electrical equipment, including VFDs, to meet the needs of our facility.
- PLC Programming: Install and program PLC and related equipment to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Program Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain PLC programs to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Wonderware and Siemens Program Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot Wonderware and Siemens programs to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plant policies, safety policies, and procedures, including risk assessments, peer on peer observations, lock out tag out, hot work permits, required PPE, confined space permits, etc.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate job knowledge and process changes with team members, department crew, and management through various forms of daily communication, including daily production meetings, email, shift handover meetings, action logs, work orders, etc.
- Technical Skills: Possess excellent PC skills, including MS Office, Excel, Word, email, and SAP, to perform maintenance part lookup, parts ordering, planned inspections, preventative maintenance, and work orders.
- Facility Management: Actively participate in facility management Voyager Plant Optimization Program, Improvement Task Force/Committee participation, Safety Programs, and Personal Development Plan.
- KPI Targets: Utilize VPO tools to achieve KPI targets and close gaps in performance, including root cause analysis, GAP analysis, MCRS meeting schedules, action logs, 5-why's, 5S, PDCA, and SDCA cycles, etc.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical Degree: Technical degree in instrumentation, PLC programming, or electrician license required.
- Experience: 3 years of industrial, agricultural, or production/food processing mechanical experience recommended.
- Skills: Allen Bradley PLC programming experience preferred, Wonderware programming preferred, basic LAN network knowledge preferred, electrical troubleshooting and high voltage experience preferred.
- Commitment to Safety: Demonstrates strong commitment to achieving company goals by focusing on safety, quality, and productivity through the Plant Excellence Program for continued improvements and standardization of jobs.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effectively shares job knowledge and process changes with team members, department crew, and management through various forms of daily communication.
- Technical Skills: Possess excellent PC skills, including MS Office, Excel, Word, email, and SAP, to perform maintenance part lookup, parts ordering, planned inspections, preventative maintenance, and work orders.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform and meet the physical demands of the position, including but not limited to lifting 50 pounds and working in dusty and wet environments with proper PPE.
