Identity Management Engineer

Position Overview:
In the realm of cybersecurity, safeguarding user identities is paramount. As a dedicated professional in this field, you will have the opportunity to enhance your expertise while playing a vital role in protecting sensitive information from cyber threats.
As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Okta Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be instrumental in executing significant IAM initiatives for our government clientele. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the identity lifecycle, articulating access needs, and establishing comprehensive identity records.
This role will allow you to broaden your IAM knowledge by designing, deploying, and maintaining systems that ensure appropriate user privileges and manage credentials for accessing critical assets. You will implement advanced solutions, from single sign-on to privileged access systems, effectively thwarting potential security breaches.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering IAM systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in supporting extensive access management solutions.
- Proven experience with the implementation of Okta or Ping Identity IAM solutions.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and protocols related to authentication, authorization, and privilege access management.
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Oracle, or CA Identity Management.
- Background in software development and experience working within an Agile team environment.
- Experience in delivering technical presentations to senior management.
- Understanding of Enterprise Directory architecture.
- Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Security Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

The compensation for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this role is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually.
Work Environment:
Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position allows for remote or hybrid work, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site.
