As a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be instrumental in the domain of identity management and zero trust frameworks. Your responsibilities will include supporting extensive IAM initiatives for our clientele. You will evaluate the identity lifecycle, clarify access needs, and define digital identities across the enterprise.
Your expertise will be crucial in designing, deploying, and maintaining systems that authenticate user privileges and manage credentials for accessing critical assets. From implementing single sign-on solutions to managing privileged access systems, you will deliver enterprise-level solutions that enhance productivity while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in ICAM, security operations, security architecture, and threat response.
- Proficiency in administering directory services, including LDAP-compliant directories such as Active Directory.
- Experience with commercial IAM solutions like Microsoft Identity Manager, SailPoint, Saviynt, or One Identity.
- Knowledge of implementing PKI and PIV standards and methodologies.
- Experience managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies, including certificates, tokens, and biometrics.
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams across diverse environments.
- Experience supporting IAM solutions in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals in the identity management domain, including zero trust, entitlement management, and RBAC.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in project management, including schedule oversight, complex problem-solving, or performance management.
- Expertise in consultative project management within an IT context.
- Familiarity with commercial IAM tools, including Microsoft Identity Manager, SailPoint, Saviynt, or One Identity.
- Experience with JSON and Groovy scripting languages.
- Knowledge of SIEM tools, such as Splunk or Azure Monitor Log Analytics.
- Experience in delivering enterprise IAM solutions.
- Understanding of troubleshooting processes and standards for Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) or Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
