Position Overview:

In the realm of cybersecurity, the safeguarding of user identities stands as a crucial barrier against potential threats. As a dedicated professional in this field, you are poised to enhance your expertise and contribute significantly to the protection of sensitive information from cyber adversaries.

As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Okta Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be instrumental in executing large-scale IAM initiatives for our esteemed government clientele. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the identity lifecycle, clarifying access needs, and establishing comprehensive enterprise identity records.

Your role will further involve the design, deployment, and maintenance of systems that ensure appropriate user permissions and manage credentials essential for accessing critical assets. You will implement sophisticated solutions ranging from single sign-on to privileged access management, effectively thwarting potential threats.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering IAM systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supporting extensive access management solutions.
  • Proven experience in implementing Okta or Ping Identity IAM solutions for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and protocols related to authentication, authorization, and privilege access management.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Oracle and CA Identity Management products.
  • Background in software development and experience working within an Agile delivery framework.
  • Ability to present technical information effectively to senior leadership.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Directory architecture.
  • Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
