As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Okta Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will be instrumental in the domain of identity governance and zero trust frameworks. Your responsibilities will include supporting extensive IAM initiatives for our governmental clients. You will evaluate the identity lifecycle, clarify access needs, and establish comprehensive identity records.

Your IAM expertise will be vital in designing, deploying, and maintaining systems that ensure appropriate user access and manage credentials for our clients' most critical resources. From single sign-on solutions to privileged access management, you will implement enterprise-grade systems to thwart potential threats.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering IAM systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in large-scale access management solutions.
  • Proficient in implementing Okta or Ping Identity IAM solutions for over 3 years.
  • Familiarity with advanced authentication, authorization, and privilege access management technologies and protocols.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Oracle, or CA Identity Management.
  • Background in software development and experience working within Agile teams.
  • Experience in delivering technical presentations to senior management.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Directory architecture.
  • Knowledge of various Access Control Frameworks, including NIST standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, individual qualifications, and organizational requirements. The estimated compensation range for this position is between $84,600 and $193,000 annually. This range reflects the typical salary for this role and is one aspect of Booz Allen's overall compensation package.

Work Environment:

If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
