Operations and Administrative Assistant/Orders & Shipping

Guzen Development, a dynamic company in the nutritional supplements industry, seeks a full-time employee to manage operations and administrative tasks. If you're punctual, enjoy working with people, have strong communication skills, and a strong work ethic, this could be the job for you.

Duties:
  • Handle orders and shipping, including supply-chain management, vendor and customer communication, and maintaining spreadsheet records of all orders and shipping.
  • Document Quality Assurance and create, revise, process, and file orders and shipping documents.
  • Data entry: Update and maintain Orders and Inventory spreadsheets in DB; Update and maintain Orders & Shipping Calendar.
  • Schedule and organize all trade shows and company travel, including booking booths, furniture, preparing and shipping materials, booking travel, arranging meetings, etc.
  • Attend trade shows when required.
  • Maintain assigned computers and tech.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and office.
  • Maintain confidentiality about products, customers, and suppliers.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Available for short travel to domestic and/or international trade shows 6 times/year (2-4 days per trade show).
  • Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English.
  • Very independent position.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Customer Relations Software, Constant Contact, and Quickbooks.
  • College degree preferred (especially Business Administration, Communication, or Nutrition Science).
Working Conditions:
  • Manual dexterity required for use of computers and peripherals.
  • Ability to speak and hear on the phone.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability to climb stairs (2nd floor office, no elevator).
