Administrative Support Specialist

This role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Employee Health & Benefits and Business Insurance service teams. The successful candidate will be a service-oriented individual with high personal standards and a hands-on work style.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the Employee Health & Benefits service team, including coordinating carrier meetings and gathering data for BenefitPoint.
- Coordinate and calendar carrier meetings for the Business Insurance service team.
- Download policy documents from carrier websites and file them into the document management system.
- Identify and scan client policies, endorsements, certificates, and other correspondence into the appropriate agency management systems.
- Perform basic research in Sagitta and develop good relationships with others on the client service teams.
- Handle Reception Desk duties, including answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, and handling mail and inter-office mail.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, typing skills of at least 65wpm, and proficiency in MS Office software. They will also have excellent phone personality, neat appearance, and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
Work Environment
The work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment, and the ability to use a computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods is required.
