Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must have completed 48 semester units of higher education and demonstrate a typing proficiency of 15 WPM on a 5-minute test (online tests are not accepted). Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Relevant experience in organized settings with school-age children, along with specialized training and coursework, is required. A minimum of one year of experience working with students with social-emotional needs in a classroom setting is preferred.
  • Submission of a Transcript (evidence of completion of 48 semester units or an Associate's Degree or higher is required).
  • Copy of Driver's License.
  • Letter of Introduction (addressed to the Assistant Superintendent for Human Services, detailing relevant training and experiences, along with interest in the position).
  • Three current Letters of Recommendation (dated and signed within the last three years).
  • Proof of High School Graduation (copy of diploma or equivalent).
  • Resume.
  • Typing Certificate (proof of net corrected typing speed of 15 WPM on a 5-minute typing test).
