Job Overview


The Facilities Operations Engineer is responsible for executing routine maintenance, conducting safety evaluations, and performing repairs on various types of machinery while reporting to the Senior Operations Engineer.


Compensation:
$55.00/HR
The compensation mentioned represents the salary range for this role. Actual offers may differ based on the candidate's educational background, experience, skills, capabilities, geographic location, and market alignment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or five (5) years of equivalent engineering experience
  • Possession of a valid, unexpired driver's license
  • Engineering license required in the relevant state, county, or city jurisdiction where work will be performed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • For candidates with a Bachelor's degree, three (3) years of relevant engineering experience is preferred
  • For candidates without a Bachelor's degree, seven (7) years of relevant engineering experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with company and regulatory standards
  • Operate various heating and ventilation systems, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, fans, and siphons at assigned client locations
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on technical challenges, work scope suggestions, and failure analyses
  • Provide engineering assistance for a broad spectrum of systems, maintenance initiatives, engines, and operational engineering tasks
  • Evaluate and propose solutions for the design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of vehicles and equipment and their components
  • Establish a maintenance strategy or configuration to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant operations
  • Review service bulletins from manufacturers or component suppliers
  • Develop solutions and implementation strategies, project justifications, cost/benefit analyses, and oversee project execution while coordinating warranty recovery on applicable service bulletins
  • Organize and prioritize assigned tasks to ensure all project deliverables and maintenance program updates are met
  • Coordinate efforts with other operational teams to guarantee safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and efficiency
