Job Overview


The Facilities Engineer I is responsible for executing scheduled maintenance, conducting safety evaluations, and performing repairs on various types of machinery, reporting directly to the Facilities Engineer III.


Compensation:
$55.00/HR
The salary range for this role varies based on the candidate's educational background, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market alignment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or five (5) years of equivalent engineering experience.
  • Possession of a valid, unexpired driver's license.
  • Must hold an engineering license in the relevant jurisdiction where work will be performed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • For candidates with a Bachelor's degree, three (3) years of relevant engineering experience is preferred.
  • For candidates without a Bachelor's degree, seven (7) years of relevant engineering experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with company and regulatory standards.
  • Operate various heating and ventilation systems, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and fans at assigned client locations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.
  • Provide engineering support across a variety of systems, maintenance programs, and operational engineering functions.
  • Analyze and propose solutions for design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair issues related to vehicles and equipment.
  • Establish a maintenance program or configuration to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • Review service bulletins from manufacturers or component suppliers.
  • Develop solutions and implementation plans, including project justification, cost/benefit analysis, and overall project management, while coordinating warranty recovery on applicable service bulletins.
  • Organize and prioritize assigned responsibilities to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance program updates.
  • Coordinate with other operational teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and efficiency.
