Job Title: Guest Services Representative

At Mall of America, we are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping and entertainment experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, including answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Greet guests in a professional manner and provide requested information efficiently.
  • Assist guests with purchases, including MOA gift cards, merchandise, and rental items such as strollers and electronic carts.
  • Oversee monetary transactions using a computerized point of sale system and ensure accurate counting and handling of funds.
  • Coordinate the MOA lost and found program and ensure overall cleanliness and safety of the work area.
  • Listen to guest issues and direct them to the appropriate staff for resolution.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of post-secondary education preferred.
  • At least 2 years of previous guest service experience required.
  • Previous cash handling experience required.
  • Must possess outstanding guest service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills required.
Physical Job Requirements:
  • Perform repetitive motion (using keyboard) frequently.
  • Stand and move frequently.
  • Reach at or below shoulder level frequently.
  • Stoop/Squat frequently.
  • Push/Pull frequently.
  • Lifting/carry up to 40 pounds (strollers) frequently.
  • Kneel and bend occasionally.
  • Reach at or above shoulder level frequently.
  • Handle larger items such as boxes or packages (strollers) frequently.
