Hope for the Heart is a non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to equipping individuals with biblical principles to renew lives, restore families, revitalize churches, and reproduce influencers worldwide.

About the Position

We are seeking a part-time Receptionist and Volunteer Coordinator to provide administrative support and assistance to various stakeholders within Hope for the Heart. This role will be responsible for:

  • Guest Service: Welcoming visitors and serving as the primary point of contact for Hope for the Heart, directing incoming calls and responding to general inquiries from external parties.
  • Administrative Support: Performing general administrative duties, including responding to incoming emails, working on spreadsheets/presentations, sorting mail, making copies, maintaining common spaces, ordering office supplies, and more.
  • Event Coordination: Planning and supporting internal events, including staff parties and meetings.
  • Special Assignments: Supporting special tasks and assignments from various stakeholders and departments.
  • Volunteer Coordination: Directing and supporting Hope for the Heart's volunteers, including recruiting and training new volunteers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma/GED and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High level of professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to discreetly handle sensitive material and information.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to guests and employees of Hope for the Heart.

Salary

$15.00/hour
