Job Overview

As a Sales Engineer specializing in climate control solutions, you will be instrumental in driving our market expansion efforts. Your role will involve leveraging one of the largest and most adaptable climate control rental fleets in the country to establish and nurture relationships with new clients while enhancing engagement with our existing customer base. Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Expansion:
    • Formulate and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets while maintaining and fostering existing client relationships.
  • Sales Activities:
    • Engage in direct sales calls and presentations to targeted customer segments within your designated area.
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address client needs.
  • Sales Management:
    • Keep accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends.
  • Continuous Education:
    • Participate in ongoing product training and stay informed about industry trends to provide expert insights to clients.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 3-5+ years of demonstrated success in Outside Sales, ideally within the HVAC or industrial rental sectors.
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Licenses & Screening:
    • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
  • Field Work:
    • Willingness to spend the majority of time in the field (travel) engaging with clients.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Experience in commercial and/or industrial product sales, particularly in the HVAC rental industry.
    • Strong understanding of HVAC and electrical systems, including their functionalities.
    • Familiarity with construction contracting and engineering processes is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of sectors such as Healthcare, Higher Education, Industrial/Manufacturing, and Commercial Real Estate is preferred.
