Opportunity Overview
WOLF is seeking a full-time Senior Field Application Engineer, Technical Sales. In this role, you will report to the VP of Business Development and play a crucial role in providing pre-sales technical support while driving sales growth for WOLF's advanced technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering pre-sales technical support to prospective clients.
2. Assisting the sales team with customer conference calls.
3. Managing client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
4. Responding promptly and professionally to customer requests.
5. Understanding end-user applications and their technology requirements.
6. Creating detailed proposals and documentation.
7. Identifying potential customers and establishing new accounts.
8. Preparing cost estimates by analyzing Bill of Materials (BOM) and related documents.
9. Contributing to CRM and forecasts through data entry and lead management.
10. Consulting directly with customers at all stages of the sales and account management lifecycle.
11. Representing WOLF at trade shows and conferences to promote our products.

Candidate Profile
To qualify, you should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven sales or technical support experience, ideally in the Embedded Solutions Market.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as mechanical, electrical, software, or aerospace.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Skills and Background
The following qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Proficiency in reading datasheets and understanding technical requirements.
- Capability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with XMC, VPX, NVIDIA, OpenVPX, FPGA, AMD, PCIe, GPU, and other relevant standards.
- Knowledge of SOSA, CMOSS, VICTORY, and similar standards.
- Developed engineering experience in military, defense, or aerospace sectors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Established relationships within the defense and aerospace industries.
- Background in graphics is an asset.
- Military service, Secret certification, and/or security clearance are also assets.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
