Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all tasks related to equipment quotations, encompassing application design, workshop fabrication, and field installation labor.
  • Oversee all assigned quotation requests and devise a comprehensive plan for each quotation.
  • Engage in all facets of quotation development, including:
    • Application Engineering
    • Vendor proposals
    • Basic Drafting as necessary
    • Cost estimation
    • Technical quotations for clients
  • SISSCO fosters a collaborative work environment, allowing individuals to closely interact with fellow Engineered Estimators in the office.
  • Accountable for the entire quotation process, from initial estimation to finalizing the sale.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional experience in Engineering or Application Engineering may substitute for formal education.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple quotations simultaneously.
  • Understanding of product pricing, cost accounting, and general sales principles.
  • Strong Mechanical and Structural knowledge.
  • Experience with AutoCAD / SolidWorks (2D proficiency required).
  • Prior experience in Material Handling Equipment, Industrial products, or electric motor and controls sales/quoting is advantageous.
