Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives of our clients, providing them with tailored banking solutions and expert advice
  • Work closely with internal partners to deepen existing relationships and acquire new high-value prospective relationships
  • Attend industry forums, conferences, and meetings to broaden relationship networks and stay up-to-date on industry trends
  • Manage client relationships to maximize opportunities for the bank while taking into account risk and customer needs
  • Utilize consultative sales skills, commercial playbook principles, and CRM tools to enhance the client experience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 10 years of commercial banking experience, with 9 years of relationship account management experience preferred
  • Formalized commercial credit training or equivalent credit experience required
  • Proven track record of partnership with investment bankers and ability to assess client needs and drivers of profitability
  • Strong business acumen, including detailed analysis of financial statements and understanding of accounting principles
