Job Summary:

California Bank & Trust is seeking a skilled Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA and San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for generating and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans and developing strong, low-risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
  • Develop, generate, and follow up on new client leads.
  • Call on existing relationships to review portfolios and make recommendations as needed.
  • Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing, and perceptive character judgment.
  • Responsible for monitoring credit performance.
  • Cross-sell other bank products.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience with commercial lending, credit, underwriting, or other directly related experience.
  • Expert knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing, and closing processes.
  • Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships, and cross-sell bank products.
  • Solid experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of various software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.

Compensation:
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $144K-224K depending on job-related factors such as years of experience, etc.
