Job Overview

NOW CFO is in search of a skilled Field Sales Account Manager with a robust sales background and expertise in relationship management. In this position, you will focus on discovering and securing new business prospects by nurturing connections with essential Centers of Influence (COIs) and engaging with potential clients at the executive level. A background in finance and accounting is advantageous but not mandatory for this role.

To thrive in this role, you should possess a solid history of lead generation, achieving sales targets, and exceptional communication skills to foster strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process. A well-established book of business and experience in high-level B2B networking are essential. You will also be tasked with delivering exceptional post-sale service. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive base salary along with a commission structure. Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic referral partnerships with CPA firms, banks, private equity firms, and other significant COIs.
  • Generate new leads through targeted networking with referral partners and participation in relevant events.
  • Oversee the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure with high-level decision-makers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospects, including C-suite and Director-level executives.
  • Conduct sales meetings with C-suite executives to identify needs and present customized solutions by showcasing our service capabilities and articulating our value proposition.
  • Collaborate with consultant and partner teams, both locally and nationally, to develop proposals, onboard new clients, and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Coordinate relationship-building activities with networking partners, prospects, and internal teams to ensure alignment and synergies.
  • Maintain an average of 20-25 meetings per week, including networking one-on-ones, events, and sales meetings.
  • Manage business opportunities, contacts, and activities in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Continuously network and build relationships with new and existing clients to maximize client retention and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and persuasive presentations to high-level decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in building rapport with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
