Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team at Precoa. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with funeral homes and their staff, as well as working with families and individuals to prearrange and prefund funeral services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Sales:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with funeral home partners and their staff
    • Meet with families and individuals to discuss preneed funeral services and assist with the sales process
    • Lead consumer sales presentations and effectively manage warm leads
    • Utilize sales strategies and techniques to achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Field Trainer:
    • Provide onboarding support to new Field Managers and funeral home staff
    • Train Advance Funeral Planners on Precoa's Web Portal and other sales tools
    • Assist with local recruiting efforts and travel to new accounts to provide support
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Precoa's insurance carrier partners and their products
Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience
    • 1-2+ years of professional sales, training, and coaching experience
    • Current life insurance license or ability to obtain
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work with a high level of ambiguity and autonomy
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel to and from funeral homes and other locations in the community. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity while on the road.

The primary language used in this role is English.
