Position Summary:

The Vice President of Division Management will oversee the mortgage division, ensuring a high level of employee engagement, exceptional customer service, and optimal profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor branch personnel, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Oversee daily operations, including the origination of various loan types in accordance with company standards.
  • Drive business development initiatives within the branch.
  • Engage in strategic planning, establishing measurable and attainable goals focused on customer service excellence.
  • Conduct recruitment processes for new branch staff, including interviews and onboarding.
  • Manage performance evaluations, coaching, and necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and maintain communication with lenders and internal teams.
  • Act as a liaison between the mortgage division and other departments.
  • Direct the implementation of new programs and ensure efficient workflow management.
  • Oversee the mortgage loan origination process for homebuyers.
  • Conduct pre-qualifications for potential clients.
  • Process mortgage applications for clients with purchase agreements.
  • Provide regular updates on loan statuses to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor lender programs and compliance requirements.
  • Represent the mortgage division at corporate events and meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and quality control measures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years in a managerial role within the mortgage sector.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in loan application and processing.
  • Thorough understanding of closing and title processes.
  • Familiarity with automated underwriting systems and industry guidelines.
  • Experience with self-employed borrower analysis and tax return evaluations.
  • Proficient in mortgage software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong background in mortgage operations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation Overview:

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $179,000 to $242,827 annually, subject to adjustments based on qualifications and operational factors.
