Position Overview:

The CAD Drafter will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of detailed working drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute CAD drafting to develop construction plans, plot plans, and residential layouts.
  • Overlay existing development drawings to identify necessary modifications.
  • Analyze civil and architectural construction documents.
  • Generate detailed drawings and sections.
  • Review architectural and development codes to ensure design compliance.
  • Adhere to established CAD standards and practices.
  • Manage file organization effectively.
  • Collaborate with various departments to support job initiation and package development.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience with AutoCAD 2018 or newer.
  • Experience or coursework in Revit is preferred.
  • A college degree in Architecture, Engineering Drafting/Design, or a related field is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Pro/Bluebeam Revu.
  • A general understanding of topography and civil design drawings is preferred.
  • Ability to produce accurate, consistent, and detail-oriented work efficiently.
  • Strong motivation and ability to maintain regular attendance.
  • Ability to follow directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Willingness to accept constructive feedback and adhere to workplace rules and procedures.
  • Capable of working productively both independently and as part of a team.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Compensation Overview:

The expected base compensation for this position ranges from $23/hr to $34/hr, subject to adjustments based on qualifications, geographic pay differentials, and operational considerations.
