JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in fostering business growth and enhancing market presence for NOV within designated territories and client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Discover and pursue new sales avenues,
  • Assist clients throughout their purchasing journey,
  • Act as the customer advocate within our organization, ensuring vital order details are communicated back to clients,
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to share insights that aid in revenue predictions, marketing strategies, and innovation development,
  • Achieve results while nurturing robust customer relationships,
  • Collaborate with domestic operators to address their operational challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry (Field Operations, Sales, Marketing, or Technical roles) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with drilling technologies, drill stem products, and service offerings, or the capacity to quickly grasp detailed technical information regarding our product range.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and achieving ambitious objectives.
  • Strong sales skills and negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Experience managing the sales process from lead generation to post-sale support and collections.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customer groups including Operators, Drilling Contractors, Rental Companies, and Machine Shops.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must possess a valid passport and be eligible for visas in relevant countries, with potential travel requirements of up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all sales processes from lead generation, proposal development, follow-up, order fulfillment, after-sales support, to collections, ensuring timely and proactive management.
  • Serve as a liaison between various internal departments and our client base.
  • Maintain and update records of all Operator activities for the assigned region, including CRM systems, Sales Visit Reports, Annual Sales and Marketing Plans, and Monthly Sales Reports.
  • Actively retain and expand our customer base within the designated area as assigned by management.
  • Proactively identify new projects and opportunities in the assigned region, detailing project specifics, market activities, and trends.
  • Continuously identify customer profiles (project evaluators, influencers, and decision-makers) to devise strategies for account development.
  • Communicate effectively and deliver sales and technical presentations at all necessary levels.
  • Develop an understanding of competitor offerings and strategies, formulating counter-strategies as needed.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings, customer engagements, and marketing events as assigned.
  • (IF REQUIRED) Provide backup support for licensee management in the region, including audits and monitoring of licensee activities.
  • Train and develop skills to audit the licensee network, achieving certification as a licensee auditor and conducting audits as necessary to support the Licensee Management Team.
