Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with the Director of Accounting as part of the Corporate Finance team, dedicated to fulfilling the global financial requirements of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
  • Generate and distribute the Daily Sales report.
  • Conduct Monthly General Ledger Close, including Journal Entries.
  • Prepare Intercompany Invoicing and Account Statements/Reconciliations between domestic and international affiliates.
  • Oversee all General Ledger Account Reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures for Central Europe, Italy, and domestic markets.
  • Provide support and analysis for monthly financial information and accounting issues for Central Europe, Italy, and domestic markets.
  • Prepare monthly, bi-annual, and annual financial statements and management reports, including:
    • Monthly Reporting Package for Executive Committee – utilizing Tagetik output reports.
    • Annual statutory financials in Hyperion – adhering to US GAAP, including exchange rate uploads, financial entries, and consolidation.
    • Annual audits and financial filings for statutory holding companies.
    • Yearly Plan Balance Sheet for domestic markets.
    • Bi-Annual Legal Reporting for domestic and international headquarters, including Intercompany Reconciliation in Tagetik and financial data adjustments.
    • Fulfill Year-End External and Internal Audit requirements.

Support for Forecasting and Budgeting:
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes at headquarters using JDE and Tagetik.
  • Analyze and support the budgeting reports for Central European and domestic markets.
  • Conduct fluctuation analyses and provide relevant explanations for financial statement variances.

Travel Requirements:

No travel required; occasional travel may be necessary.


Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Experience:
5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in international operations, manufacturing, and consumer products. CPA and/or experience with a Big 4 firm is preferred.

Skills:
Proficient in researching and resolving technical accounting issues and drafting accounting memorandums. Experience with SAP and CPM planning software is advantageous. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills are essential. Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication abilities are required. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
