Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update cost accounting records accurately, ensuring all information reflects operational performance.
  • Perform comprehensive analyses of financial data, offering insights and recommendations to enhance cost efficiency and overall financial health.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to reconcile and analyze Purchase Orders daily, ensuring precision and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and timely completion of financial statements.
  • Contribute to the development of a detailed reporting package that delivers valuable insights to management.
  • Assist in formulating and implementing accounting policies, along with reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned by management, such as inventory tracking, process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc financial analyses.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in cost accounting, with a solid grasp of cost structures and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in ledger-based ERP systems is essential; familiarity with Oracle Fusion is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end close, annual audits, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, capable of performing complex data analyses, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends, interpret data, and provide sound recommendations.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to challenges. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Compensation: $40.00 to $43.00 per hour
