About the Role

The Business Account Executive is a key member of our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales and revenue goals
  • Prospect for new customers and sell bundled services to existing customers
  • Generate sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale
  • Develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within the assigned territory
  • Place orders through order management software and work with the Account Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely administrative work
  • Hand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Customer Service department
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
  • Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department Standards of Performance (SOP) and the Spectrum Way Sales Model
Requirements
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Outside sales experience in a high transaction, short closing cycle model preferred
  • Business to business sales experience preferred
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets preferred
Working Conditions

The Business Account Executive will work in an office environment and/or outside environment with exposure to inclement weather.
