About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for selling our premium sports, entertainment, and news offerings to major brands and media agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell our portfolio of sports and entertainment properties, including TNT Sports and CNN, to national brands and media agencies.
  • Develop and manage strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our marketing, planning, and account services teams to ensure programs meet and exceed client KPIs.
  • Build and leverage relationships with key contacts at major agencies and national brands.
  • Partner with our B/R and CNN teams to deliver cross-platform programs across premier leagues such as the NBA, NCAA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, and more.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' media sales experience required; linear, digital video, custom content, and league partnership sales experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of negotiating, structuring, and closing media brand partnerships with emphasis on growing revenue.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, creative thinker, results-oriented, passionate, confident, and ability to thrive in an unstructured environment.
  • Ability to understand media industry, changing technology, and convey it in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Passionate for brand storytelling in a sports context.
  • Strong organizational/project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Competitive salary range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year.
