Account Executive, Employee Benefits Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team at HUB International. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our employee benefits clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage assigned book of business, develop client relationships, and meet strategic objectives to grow and retain clients
- Help develop and implement client benefits strategies
- Prepare plans to identify short- and long-term client needs
- Interface with clients at various levels to understand their objectives and requirements
- Maintain regular interactions with clients to develop relationships and advise on new products and services
- Ensure all services are implemented according to project plans and client deliverables meet quality standards
- Lead the account team and provide direction on client work and deliverables
- Coach and mentor the service team on RFP and marketing processes, strategies for new and renewing plans, and other key areas
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of related experience in a brokerage environment
- Experience supporting large group markets (100+ lives)
- Self-funding experience preferred but not required
- Experience as a strategic lead for accounts, leading client meetings, client teams, and delegating deliverables
- Valid CA Life Agent license
