Job Description

Job Summary:

The Chicago Transit Authority is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via phone, email, and in-person
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding CTA services, fares, and policies
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of CTA policies, procedures, and services
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced call center environment, meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced call center environment
  • May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information
