Role Summary:

The Engineering Project Coordinator will oversee the orchestration of personnel and processes to guarantee that engineering projects at the brand level are completed punctually and yield the intended outcomes. This role entails the creation of comprehensive project plans, ensuring the availability and allocation of resources, and maintaining project delivery within the established budget and scope. Projects will encompass updates to existing products, engineering modifications, production line transitions, and the implementation of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and milestones for the assigned brand utilizing suitable systems, tools, and methodologies.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for the successful execution of projects.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and vendors to assess resource availability.
  • Track and report on project performance, including timelines for product development such as tooling, manufacturing, or product procurement.
  • Responsible for communicating metrics and KPIs related to the project.
  • Monitor the status and timing of all engineering design and process modifications, including new application releases and changes in OEM programs.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings to discuss change notices and provide reports.
  • Offer timing and feedback to the PMO to support corporate aftermarket and OEM initiatives as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and/or training is necessary.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical guidelines, or governmental regulations.
  • Capability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Proficient in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and applying basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Adept at interpreting a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and managing various abstract and concrete variables.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 20-25% to manufacturing locations as needed.
