Position Overview:
The Project Engineer for Commissioning Services plays a crucial role in delivering and executing professional service tasks related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and associated systems. Key responsibilities encompass managing office assignments, overseeing time and expense reporting, conducting field validations, performing testing, attending meetings, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

  • Achieve targeted billable hours while managing tasks within allocated budgets
  • Facilitate commissioning meetings and provide support to the construction team on technical matters
  • Foster positive client relationships throughout assigned projects
  • Assist the team leader in coordinating efforts with other project engineers
  • Engage in safety and training initiatives

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of building equipment systems
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse working environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active participation in trade associations
  • Relevant certifications such as EIT, ACP, CEM
  • OSHA 10 or other recognized safety certifications
  • Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM)
