Role Summary:

The Project Manager will oversee the coordination of personnel and processes to ensure that engineering projects at the brand level are completed on schedule and achieve the intended outcomes. This role involves creating comprehensive project plans, ensuring the availability and allocation of resources, and managing project delivery within budget and scope. Responsibilities will encompass updates to existing products, engineering modifications, production line transitions, and the introduction of new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and milestones for the assigned brand using appropriate systems and methodologies.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to facilitate project execution.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and vendors to assess resource availability.
  • Track and report on project performance, including timelines for product development such as tooling, manufacturing, or product procurement.
  • Communicate metrics and KPIs related to project status effectively.
  • Monitor the status and timing of all engineering design and process modifications, including new application releases and changes to OEM programs.
  • Lead weekly change notice meetings and prepare reports.
  • Provide timely feedback to the PMO to support corporate aftermarket and OEM initiatives as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or training is essential.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, and technical regulations.
  • Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
  • Effective in presenting information and addressing inquiries from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Competent in performing calculations related to discounts, interest, commissions, and other financial metrics.
  • Adept at problem-solving, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Skilled in interpreting complex technical instructions and managing various abstract and concrete variables.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 20-25% to manufacturing locations as needed.
