Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance/Personal Lines Business Development Account Manager to join our team at AB Hires and Consulting in Brooklyn, NY.

Key Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will provide exceptional sales support to the Producer and deliver outstanding customer service to clients.
  • Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, the Account Manager will assist in producing new and renewal accounts that meet Agency and individual Producer goals.
  • In addition, the role requires providing field service in support of Producer activities, assisting clients with service needs, and making changes to existing accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A High School Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in Commercial Lines or Personal Lines are preferred.
  • The successful candidate will possess excellent professional communication, organization, and writing skills.
  • Experience in Quoting and Marketing New and Existing accounts, as well as proficiency in completing applications and determining proper coverage, is also desired.
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic, Excel, and Microsoft Word is necessary.
  • A Property and Casualty License is preferred but not required; the ability to obtain one is essential.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
