National Account Sales Manager

We are a fast-growing B-Corp startup, Kencko, that is passionate about making it easy for everyone to build healthy habits and eat more fruits and vegetables. As our new National Account Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to drive sales of Kencko branded products to leading foodservice channel accounts and distributors.
Responsibilities:- Research and target high-leverage accounts in the food service and alternate channels, including restaurants, hotels, universities, and offices.
- Develop a strategic and operational sales plan to deliver budgeted sales and gross margin targets.
- Collaborate with the commercial and marketing teams to create and grow a key account portfolio, with an objective of delivering growth targets.
- Communicate customer needs and market trends to key internal stakeholders.
- Analyze, optimize, and report on business performance, focusing on conversion funnel, margin, and broker/distributor management.
- Represent the brand at trade shows and partnership events.
- 5+ years of sales/business development experience, with hands-on experience across all aspects of the selling cycle, within food service wholesale distribution.
- Extensive experience managing and collaborating with food service brokers and distributors.
- Highly developed negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
- Expert understanding of the food service industry, with an emphasis on national accounts.
- Direct P&L responsibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple situations concurrently, and work independently.
