Company Overview
The hotel's independent franchisee, Troutbrook, seeks a Sales Manager to lead revenue efforts and maximize total revenue. As a key member of the management team, you will work closely with the General Manager to drive sales growth and exceed targets.

Salary Range
$70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
This challenging role involves leading the revenue efforts for the hotel, attaining new business, and maintaining existing relationships. Responsibilities include negotiating group rates and contracts, selling meeting space, and cultivating relationships with conference, corporate, leisure, and community partners through direct client contact and over-the-phone outreach. Your goal is to maximize total revenue and ensure sales goals are met and exceeded.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years previous hotel sales experience, with IHG experience highly desired.
- Proven success in a similar role and environment.
- College degree, High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner to solicit business and meet client needs.
- Proficient in computer office programs, including STS tool and property PMS systems.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
