Job Title: Intake Specialist

Nunes Law, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Intake Specialist to join our team. As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients seeking legal solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough intake interviews to gather detailed information about the accident, injuries, medical treatment, and insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake interviews with potential clients to gather detailed information about their cases.
  • Qualify potential clients by evaluating the legal merit of their cases based on established criteria.
  • Review relevant documentation, including medical records, police reports, and insurance information to assess case viability.
  • Consult with attorneys to discuss case details and obtain guidance on case acceptance.
  • Prepare and manage client intake forms, ensuring accurate data entry into the case management system.
  • Schedule initial consultations with attorneys to discuss case strategy and potential representation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in California state court civil litigation, preferably supporting attorney in plaintiff's personal injury cases.
  • Adaptable to the exciting pace of litigation and the ability to take a step back and not panic.
  • Enthusiastic in delivering life-enhancing service to clients who are injured and dealing with high levels of distress as a result of their injuries.
  • Attention to detail, particularly grammar, spelling, punctuation, and case details when working with documents.
  • Extremely effective communication skills (both written and oral).

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a legal setting, particularly within personal injury law, is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual in Hmong, Punjabi or Spanish is a plus.
  • Embrace technology for use in Team meetings, ordering client records, notifying potential new clients of meetings, reminders, and receiving documents.
  • Excellent time management skills to manage a high volume of inquiries.
  • Ethical conduct and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
