Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated full-time Administrative Manager to oversee our office operations. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our administrative functions and supporting our team.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary based on experience, with starting hourly rates ranging from $17 to $19, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the administrative functions of the facility.
  • Assist in employee discipline and termination processes in line with company policies.
  • Provide mentorship to staff, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and candidate interviews.
  • Support staffing needs and scheduling in collaboration with management.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Assist employees with troubleshooting issues related to benefits portals and systems.
  • Ensure timely completion of New Hire and Annual reviews.
  • Address workplace challenges such as morale and absenteeism.
  • Organize team-building activities to enhance engagement and morale.
  • Prepare and facilitate meetings to inform staff about company policies and benefits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and documentation.
  • Act as the timekeeper for staff, managing time-off requests and payroll preparations.
  • Coordinate office equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Accurately enter data into various systems.
  • Proactively solve onsite issues as they arise.
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities to meet the evolving needs of the lab.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
  • Strong knowledge of office management practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in people management.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in conflict resolution and managing difficult conversations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in office administration is a plus.
  • At least three years of administrative and clerical experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.
