Position Overview

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a Site Operations Supervisor to join our Site Support division. Our team operates on a 4x10 schedule, providing a work-life balance with every Friday off. This role is essential in ensuring optimal functionality and service delivery to our tenants and programs, while aligning with the policies and objectives of the Central Facilities Site Operations Maintenance and Support division. The Site Operations Supervisor will report directly to the Site Support department manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development and advancement of first-line supervisors across various departments and personnel.
  • Engage collaboratively with subordinate supervisors, functional peer groups, and upper management, requiring the interpretation and communication of information to knowledgeable audiences.
  • Offer leadership and technical guidance to personnel involved in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution, who may be located in different geographical areas.
  • Ensure that maintenance activities are conducted in a manner that minimizes downtime while prioritizing safety and cost-effectiveness.
  • Integrate safety programs into maintenance planning and execution, covering areas such as fire safety, electrical safety/arc flash, confined space entry, and lock-out/tag-out protocols.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, contractors, Division Directors, and various organizational levels.
  • Provide direct management to supervisors and leadership to all maintenance personnel at Central Facilities.
  • Oversee the management of hazardous materials and waste, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Direct employees in accordance with established policies and management directives.
  • Develop and implement schedules and performance standards for the unit, managing costs effectively.
  • Receive assignments based on incremental objectives and defined processes.
  • Offer recommendations for performance management improvements.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • This position necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Compensation Information:
  • The target salary range for this position is $100,540 - $155,973 annually, with a full pay range of $89,652 - $215,160. Compensation decisions are based on factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

  • This is a testing designated position; candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and periodic testing throughout their employment.
