Role Overview:

The Housing Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of the housing team. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders including staff, architects, and legal teams to negotiate contracts and assess proposals related to real estate acquisitions and developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with housing personnel and external partners to manage vendor agreements and evaluate proposals.
  • Stay informed about the current real estate landscape in Idaho and implement necessary adjustments based on organizational needs.
  • Oversee the management and tracking of property resources, including purchase agreements and expenditure reports.
  • Establish processes, develop standards, and set evaluation criteria for operational efficiency.
  • Implement and supervise the maintenance of the chargeback and allocation systems for program information.
  • Supervise the creation and upkeep of departmental databases.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in property management or affordable housing development.
  • Relevant certifications in USDA Rural Development, HUD Programs, and Occupancy Specialization are preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication.
  • Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
