We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Manager to oversee our office operations.
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, starting at $17 - $19 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the administrative functions of the facility.
- Support in employee discipline and termination processes as per company guidelines.
- Guide team members in conflict resolution and conduct necessary disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and interviews for prospective candidates.
- Assist in staffing requirements and scheduling in collaboration with management.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Provide support to associates with various benefits systems and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure timely completion of New Hire and Annual performance reviews.
- Address workplace challenges such as morale and attendance issues.
- Organize team-building activities to enhance engagement and morale.
- Prepare meetings to inform associates about company policies and benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Act as the timekeeper for associates, managing time-off requests and payroll preparations.
- Oversee courier routes and vehicle maintenance.
- Coordinate office equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Accurately enter data into various systems.
- Proactively resolve onsite issues as they arise.
- Adapt to changing responsibilities to meet the needs of the laboratory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
- Strong understanding of office management practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality in all matters.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a management role.
- Must reside within 30 miles of the laboratory.
- Experience in conflict resolution and handling difficult conversations.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in office administration or a related field is a plus.
- At least three years of administrative and clerical experience is required.
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment using standard office equipment.
- Must be able to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.
- Work involves sitting, talking, hearing, and typing.
