Position Summary

We are currently offering a full-time position for a Scheduling Coordinator. This role is vital to the clinic's operations, as it often represents the initial point of interaction with patients, ensuring a seamless clinic experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients via phone or in-person, manage appointment scheduling, and foster a friendly atmosphere.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling, making adjustments as needed to maintain clinic efficiency.
  • Register new patients and ensure the accuracy of patient records.
  • Verify receipt of lab cases prior to treatment and coordinate with labs as necessary.
  • Keep patients informed about expected wait times in case of delays.
  • Assist with interpreter forms and explain emergency procedures to patients.
  • Document and organize patient communications in the appropriate logs or charts.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, ideally in an office environment.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish, Karen, Somali, or Oromo are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Organized and adept at multitasking in a dynamic setting.
  • Proficient in MS Office or similar software applications.
