Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Registration Specialist to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Patient Registration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify Patient Information: Accurately verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and demographic information to ensure accurate billing and registration.
  • Register Patients: Register patients in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
  • Schedule Appointments: Schedule appointments for patients with specified clinicians according to scheduling guidelines and availability.
  • Manage Patient Accounts: Monitor patient balances and alert patients of outstanding balances to ensure appropriate financial arrangements.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal team members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Medical Terminology Course or Equivalent Experience: Preferred.
