We are seeking a Facilities Engineering Specialist who embodies exceptional service standards and can translate them into practice. This role is a vital part of our facilities team, managing some of the most efficient and cost-effective data center environments in the industry.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers focused on electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring maintenance and repairs are executed on our data center infrastructure.

We prioritize our customers' uptime requirements and maintain our facilities to the highest standards to guarantee uninterrupted service.

If you have a passion for working on critical data center systems such as UPSs, PDUs, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment, and Building Controls, along with industrial electrical systems, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, and service critical data center systems, including UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment, and Building Controls.
  • Generate reliability reports to ensure that availability and capacity targets are consistently met, aiming for 100% uptime.
  • Coordinate maintenance vendors to ensure personnel safety and protect critical equipment.
  • Create and maintain Method of Procedures (MOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) for all maintenance activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing industrial electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical environments is required, with 5+ years preferred. This includes experience with emergency generators, electrical distribution systems, critical PDUs, UPS, HVAC, and building management systems.

Strong technical skills in operating, maintaining, and testing critical electrical distribution systems and HVAC systems are essential. Candidates should be able to read commercial building blueprints and understand electrical schematics.

Technical writing skills are necessary for creating and updating MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for critical facilities equipment.

Reliable transportation is required for reporting to work and emergencies, with minimal travel expected for training purposes.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and be willing to work outside normal business hours.
