Administrative Coordinator

United Way of the Midlands is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to the JAG Leadership team and ensure the smooth operation of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing calendars, coordinating meetings and events, preparing reports and presentations, and handling confidential information with discretion. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings and events, and prepare reports and presentations.
- Provide administrative support to the JAG Leadership team, including handling confidential information.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and maintain digital files and databases to support program operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred or relevant and comparable experience.
- Two or more years of related experience.
- Nonprofit experience preferred.
This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasionally required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
