The Account Manager will be responsible for expanding the portfolio, nurturing and managing relationships with dealers, optimizing their credit line usage, and effectively overseeing risk management. This role requires being in the field 100% of the time, engaging with dealer clients, auctions, and other industry stakeholders.

The ideal Account Manager will:

  • Oversee and enhance dealer credit lines within the designated portfolio.
  • Grow the portfolio by actively seeking and onboarding new dealer partners.
  • Meet company objectives by engaging with dealers, both face-to-face and virtually, to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Educate dealers on best practices and performance expectations.
  • Evaluate dealer financial data and internal reports to monitor performance and address issues swiftly.
  • Assist in pre-default risk management and post-default recovery efforts in partnership with the Risk and Recovery team.
  • Identify and report any non-compliance or fraudulent activities to mitigate risk.
  • Document all interactions and activities with dealers.
  • Encourage collaboration across business units and identify potential synergies.

A qualified candidate for the Account Manager position must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the automotive and finance sectors.
  • Strong financial understanding and proficiency in financial tools and terminology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective dealer interactions.
  • Excellent negotiation and collection skills.
  • A willingness to drive for extended periods.
  • A clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
  • The ability to travel 60% of the time, including overnight trips.
  • The capacity to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
